Barry M Christmas 2014 Limited Edition Nail Paints

Hey everyone!

I'm got really excited about the new releases of Barry M's new Christmas nail paint,
So I HAD to run down to my nearest boots and grab them. There was only a few left, so I was lucky to get hold of them! *_*

From what I know, these are exclusive to Boots only. But from what i've heard there is one exclusive to Tesco and 2 exclusive to Superdrug, which I haven't seen any of yet but will pick up if I see them about.

Right now Boots (and Superdrug were but I think they stopped yesterday) are running a promotion of 'Spend £7 on Barry M and get a Showgirl Mascara for free' Which is quite nice actually as im wanting to have a few more mascaras in my collection. So I picked up the Extra Volume one.

The packaging doesn't feel cheap at all, seeing as it normally retails for £4.99, which is a very good price indeed for what you get, and how well it applies.

Not really impressed with the applicator, but surprisingly it helped separate and  define my lashes better than I thought it would

After seeing this I realise I definitely need to re-shape my brows!! Uughh

This was the result of 2 coats, dries relatively quick, and i've currently has it on for 2 hours and had no fall out or flaking. It's definitely not waterproof but wouldn't run all over your face straight away if you got caught in the rain.
And oh my goodness it made my lashes look really long *_* I sort of couldn't believe it seeing its cheap.
Pro's: It gives your lashes a natural look and can be built up if you want to achieve that sort of fake eyelash look without the fake eyelashes! Its nice to have if you're on a budget and want good quality. This is defiantly something i'll be using on a regular basis.

Cons: The only problem I had with it is the brush. If you don't wipe the end of the brush it collects quite allot of product and it becomes quite hard to get to the smaller lashes on your eye without getting a blob of mascara on your face
Sorry the lighting and picture quality isn't great!

Now for the Nail Paints! I absolutely loooove these. I love glitter polishes and Barry M's formula is one of the best i've ever tried.

They look like something you could hang on your Christmas tree   (=^;^=)
From Left to Right, Moonlight and Starlight.

Starlight
This is by far my favourite of the two. It has a clear base with holographic stars, slight gold toned hexagons and small glitters, You could wear it alone or would look lovely over a dark polish and when it catches the light its absolutely beautiful!

The stars sort of sunk to the bottom, but a quick shake up fixed that.

Didn't realise till now how horribly I'd painted them!
This is with 2 coats and found it covered my nails quite nicely

Moonlight

Moonlight has allot more going on than Starlight. It the same clear base, but also has the same stars and gold hexagons from Starlight in it. It also has silver hexagons, silver micro glitter, long silver glitters and of course, the pinky red moon glitters. As there are allot more glitters in this it becomes more opaque on the nail. So if you want to put this on top of something, I would recommend only putting one coat on.

2 coats

There was quite a strange problem that I had with this one

If you have look closely at the moons, they aren't quite crescent shaped. I managed to fish one out of the bottle. As soon as I noticed this I Google searched it, and it seems like all the swatches I have seen have the same shaped moons as I do, so its definitely not a fault. I think they could have done a better job with the shaping, but regardless it is still beautiful and both of them are very different and I dont think there's anything else like them on the market right now.

They are both available to buy now in Boots for £3.99 each, have you managed to grab them yet?

Whats your favourite polish to pair them with?
let me know in the comments (=^;^=)
