Memebox #64 Green Food Cosmetics unboxing

Hi guys,

This is the second box from my bundle set that I ordered from Memebox, see my memebox empties unboxing here http://cakezandglitter.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/memebox-77-memebox-empties-unboxing.html

I was quite surprised at this box, I was expecting broccoli, cucumber, avocado... but instead the products in this box had more herbal green things in, which I found kind of weird as the description of the box had the work broccoli in?!

Not as happy with this box, I feel kind of ripped off in a way. But i'll still be using everything

This was also a golden ticket box, and I was expecting the $3 off ticket, the same as everyone else got. I obviously got it too

This box came with 5 products, 4 of which are full size.

First product in the box is the Do You Raw Original Soy Milk Facial Cream.its enriched with soy bean extracts, soy milk ferments rice water, galatomyces and other grain extracts. The 'green' in this would be they soy beans.
It makes a really nice moisturiser and you can use the jar for candle making or a candy or jelly jar, apparently. It came with a decent sized plastic spatula too.

The second product is the Solucion 9 Aztec Therapy Shampoo.
It contains espinosilla, jojoba oil, nettle, oritguilla, aloe vera, rosemary, chamomile and citrus.
I've used this once, and so far so good. Its green in colour and has a minty citrus smell to it, but not in a good way. It left my hair feeling nice and soft though. But its a regular funky smelling shampoo, what can I say?

Next is the Derma:B Fresh Moisture Body Lotion.
Again, nothing special, its a body lotion. This is the only product that isnt full size and its infused with tea tree, peppermint, bergamot, ginger and amber.
But its a nice formula and i'll use it because I doubt anyone else would.

Next is the WillSpa Touch Aroma Therapy Roll On Oil. Randomly selected from Chill Out or Breathe Easy roll on. I was given the Chill out roll on.
This was one of the few products I was intruiged by, it smells sooo strong and its defiantly for when you're feeling ill or need your nose unblocking, quite perfect for this time of year. I'll be getting use out of this. I like the packaging too, it came in a cardboard tube. I'm unable to say what exactly is in this roll on as the ingredients are Korean and it doesnt say on the card. It just gives a quick summary of what's in each of the oils.

The last product I recieved was probably my favourite. Its the Tosowoong Aloe Whitening Essence. Its really refreshing and absorbs so quickly. I was hesitant at first as I thought it made your skin permanently lighter? But i'm not experienced enough with korean skincare products and it just means that it'll brighten up your complexion. No bleaching or anything like that. Its not sticky and has a pleasant smell so i'm very happy with this.

So overall not a bad box but definitely not a good one. I think the Green Food theme got lost and got replaced with herbs and stuff like that. Since when do you eat Aloe Vera? I think allot of people were disappointed with this box. If you got this what did you think? Leave me a comment :)

Memebox #77 Memebox Empties unboxing

Hi people!
Its the long awaited meme empties box o.o
I almost cancelled this as I was dreading that this box was going to be full of CPM 2, seeing as a few boxes recently have had those products in. It wasn't a bad box but I just didn't need any more Shara Shara eye shadows or TonyMoly appletox cream. So I was pretty relived when the spoilers for these went up in one of the Facebook groups!
The only reason I didn't cancel it was because it was in a bindle with Greenfood's and I really wanted that one so I just hoped for the best.

I'm also going to start writing out the product descriptions seeing as I can't seem to get a good card picture any more -_-

Taa daa!

This box had a good selection of products in and im quite happy. Apart from having the hand cream missing! Which has since been sorted out but im disappointed, I do love my hand creams.

First product on the card, Enesti Rice and Milk Foaming Cleanser, Full size $15. This is really nice and left my skin feeling clean and soft. I was wanting another cleanser so i'm very happy with this product. I have oily skin so a cleaner is a must for me.
Product description: A foam cleanser made from mineral rich hot spring water and packed with rice and milk extracts, this product will thoroughly cleanse deep into your pores yet deliver rich moisture, leaving your skin glowing with a natural translucence.

Boutique Bebe Hair Salon  Argan Oil Essence.
Me gustaaa! I love argan oil, it really does work wonders, and its normally quite expensive so i'm happy to have this.
A high quality hair essence offering a real salon treatment right in your home. Boutique Bebe's argain oil essence will instantly deliver nutrition and hydration to deep within, bringing back the healthy glow and luster to your now dry, crumbly hair.
I don't know about you lot but i've never had crumbly hair! HAHA. There were so many typos in the actual description.

Next is the Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence. Im actually really scared by this, but i've heard its amazing, I've yet to try it on my face but I tested it on my wrist first to see if I was allergic, but I didn;t get any redness, itching or anything like that so i'll be brave and try it out.
Product description: Instead of water, this facial essence uses snail secretion filtrate, bee venom and EFG to cleanse your rough, damaged skin from external stresses and pollution. in addition to the skin trouble care, moisturise supply and skin tone improvement functions, it also helps brighten up your complexion and remove signs of ageing.

. Next is the Secret Nature From Jeju Peeling Gel
I was suprised to see that this was a brown colour when I went to use it, its got the same smell as the serum from this brand too which  I received in the From Jeju box. I never used a peeling gel before and I honestly can say now that its such a good product and my skin looks amazing.
Made from Volcanic clay, natural cellulose components and the pesticide free jeju all from the jeju island, secret natures from jeju peeling gel is 97% pure, raw and directly derived from the nature. its gentle yet effective formula will exfoliate any excess dead skin cells and skin impurities, and work to purify and brighten up the overall complexion as well.

Next are the Purederm Nose Pore Strips Cacao.
I've used nose strips before and they might even be from the same brand, as I believe Purederm is sold in the UK too. So nothing new here, i've never tried them in the chocolate variety but they seemed to work the same, they left the pores on my nose refined. I'm not a big fan of anything chocolate scented when it comes to beauty products and these didn't really smell like chocolate to be honest. But im happy as i've been meaning to get some of these for a while.

Next is the Evas Rose Mine perfumed  hand cream, which I don't have. I do have another handcream from this brand though and its nice. If I was to have got ay of them from the selection I would have chosen Maybe, which looks like its rose scented.

Final thing on the card is the Purebess Galacomyces 80 eye cream. I've heard good things about the galacomyces from the bloggers picks box and another box which I cant really remember, so im over the moon about getting an eye cream!! I dont have any eye creams at alland this one sounds amazing to start off with.
There's no need for an expensive high end eye cream any more with this affordable high quality product made entirely from natural yeast ferments! galatomyces works not only to lock in moisture withing your skin but also to rid of any residues piled up in your pores and to remove any signs of fine lines along your contours, delivering an overall effect of a more translucent and natural glow.

Overall very pleased with this box! Apart from my missing hand cream obviously.
What did you think about it?

Memebox Special #46 From Jeju unboxing

Yessss, another Memebox unboxing!! <3

Im pretty late to the game with this one, seeing as I bought it as a restock along with My Cute Wishlist 2, you can see that here http://cakezandglitter.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/memebox-51-my-cute-wishlist-2.html

For some reason, I wasn't interested in this, but my willpower crippled when they restocked it, so I thought why not? And just went for it.

But im so happy I did! Its such a good box and i'll be using everything. I haven't tried an Etude House sheet mask before so im very happy indeed.

First off, I noticed that this box is pretty huge, I compared it to one of the normal boxes. They probably had to use a bigger box due to the fact that there's quite a few big products in this.

First off, im really sorry about the awful card pictures, its getting so hard to get good lighting at all now that its getting dark outside.

This box came with 7 full size products, and 2 of them were one time use.

First was the Skindeco Volcanic pore clay sparkling heating mask. This looks awful but it doesn't have a bad smell, sort of like a sour chocolate scent. I've already tried this, and its amazing, my pores looked refined and left my skin smooth. It does heat allot on your face too, so it probably wouldn't be ideal for people with sensitive skin.

Next is the Jeju Hallabong Ade Energy Peeling Toner. This is my first toner, and im happy because I like the brand, and already have the serum from the CPM 2 box, it has a orangey citrus scent which I love. It made my skin feel like fluff.

Next item in the box is the Skincure SanDaWa Natural Mild Cleansing Oil. This is definitely my least favourite thing in the box. First off its tiny! Its meant to be full size but I have a hard time believing that. Im not a big fan of oils as I just dont like the texture on my face. I will give this a try though

Next item in the box is the Secret Nature From Jeju Serum. I really like the packaging on this, its even got a plastic lid that looks like wood. It absorbs nicely and isn't greasy. It has a fresh medicinal scent to it.

The next 2 items are the one use only, which I havent tried yet. I recieved the Etude House Clear and Moist Green Tea Blending Sleeping Cream, and a Etude House  Green Tea sheet mask.
The cream is so cute, I love how its packaged in a spoon.

Last item in the box was a handcream, I thought this was going to be pretty boring because its just a handcream. But its very lightweight and doesn't feel greasy at all. It has a mild honey scent to it

I looooved this box and im glad I bought it.
I've got 2 more shipping express on Friday and im so excited to know whats in them :)

Memebox #77 My Lovely Boutique unboxing

Hey guiz

Today we have a really quick post on my latest Memebox that came through the post
I wont be swatching any of the products and will be passing this on to someone as its really not for me

I love the handcream and the Yeon packs but apart from that, thats it.
This post contains pictures that are not mine!

This box came with 6 products, 5 of which were full size.

First I recieved the EtudeHouse My Castle hand cream in Sweet Cookie. I only opened this to smell it, it smells really sweet and coconuty.
There are another 3 variations of these, Pink Wish, Ice Frozen and Forever Rose.

Next item is the only sample size product in the box. Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Cinema City
Ive never tried a CC cream before, and had no idea what it did so google told me: CC Creams: The difference between BB and CC creams is subtle--CCgenerally stands for “color correcting” and the products are meant to address issues like redness or sallowness (usually with light-diffusing particles), whereas BB creams are like lighter foundation with a few skin care benefits thrown in.

This box also came with a Shara Shara BB cream which I did squeeze a little out to have a look. It was so glittery it was ridiculous

Next I got The Yeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Pack which are just different things you can put on your face. I do like Yeon and already have the serum and the toner, and they are both lovely products. And i'm sure these will be too.

Last 2 items in the box are both from Shara Shara. A peach lip balm necklace which isnt my thing at all. It doesnt feel or look cheap but at the end of the day im not 5. The first item on the card but the last im writing about is the oil balm, which can be used for very dry patches of skin, which sounds ok to me as I tend to get small excema patches on my cheeks from time to time and I feel like this could help.

So all in all, not a bad box, but I feel like I just wont use the products, apart from the hand cream, its just not worth me keeping the box for that and I can easily pick up the hand cream on ebay.

What did you think of this box?

Memebox #51 My Cute Wishlist 2

O hai

So I recently got my restock boxes through the post on Saturday via snail mail yaay. I've been looking forward to these for a while :)

So I managed to snag a Cute Wishlist #2 and a 'From Jeju', which i'll be posting about soon.

Please excuse the poor excuses for photos.

So this box came with 6 full sized products woo

First item in the box is the Sally's Box Lip Patch, havent tried this yet but it looks pretty ussum.

Next item on the card is the Its Skin Babyface Petit Blusher, I got the colour Sweet Peach.
OMIGOSH this is the cutest thing ever, I looove the little puffer applicator

Next I got the Magic Cream Soap Cleansing dessert in Red Wine. This has a really sickly sweet grape smell that im not a fan of at all and I think cheapens the product. Even though it sounds lovely in the description and i'll get use out of it.
Would have preferred the Lemon though.

Next I got the RoseMine perfumed hand cream, randomly selected from Nana's Lily or Hesperides. I received Hesperides, it has a lovely floral smell and its not too overpowering, I have no idea what hesperides but the smell reminds me of roses.
The packaging is really cute and has that Cath Kidson style to it.

I was pretty excited about this one as I don't own any collagen products or sleeping packs. I thought this would be more like a cream but how wrong I was. Its like jelly, and it smells amazing. It has a subtle lemon scent.

                                 Wobble wobble

Last item is the Yeon Style Y Fruity Lip Balm
I must be lipbalm overload right now. I received it in Strawberry Swirl and I was hoping to get the Lime Swirl but this is still nice. I used to have something similar to this when I was younger. I'm sort of dissapointed with the smell as I could hardly smell the strawberryness

This beats any of the boxes i've had so far, got plenty more to come and I can't wait!

Birchbox November 2014 unboxing!

So I literally just got this delivered about half an hour ago!

I do love getting mail <3

So today i'll be unboxing my very first Birchbox, I was abit hesitant about subscribing at first because there wasnt really anything that grabbed my attention, but then I got an email saying that every box this month would include a selection of Dr Jart+ products. Now this got me seriously excited as they are a Korean brand, and i've recently been inroduced into the world of korean cosmetics by Memebox.

And also I used a £5 off code so I got my box for £7.95
SO AMAZE!
The theme this month was 'Cosy at Home'

This is what I got in my box.
Now when I opened it, I was kind of disappointed, as i'd seen some people get OPI nail polishes and little bars of chocolate, which I would have preferred instead of the drinkwel thingys but im still very happy with the box.

Everything came in a reusable cardboard box and a drawstring pouch too which is super handy for storage and I think its really cute.

There were quite a few Dr Jart products I could have received and I ended up getting the Recover Primer. YAY *dances*
I looove primers and im always looking for new ones, i've only got 2 other primers which is the Paul and Joe Pearl Foundation Primer, which isn't really for daytime and a Nivea Daily Essentials primer which I find is abit greasy in texture. Im sososo happy that I got this, it sort of smells like lemons and herbs. I don't know, its hard to say but when I put some onto the back of my hand it went on really smoothly and absorbed quickly, which I liked, because I don't like products that tend to sit there and chill on your face for a while.
Its full size and retails for £18

Next I got a Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Ripe Raspberry.
Now I was't too happy about this because I know they had this in last months box, and its almost like their trying to get rid of them for new subscribers this month. If I wanted this product, I would have bought last months box. But I can't complain really, its a really nice product. I'm quite a lipbalm hoarder and I do tend to use them quickly, so this is a nice addition to my lipbalm family. It gives allot of colour payoff and it smells like cupcakes :3

Next I got a Lord & Berry bronzer sample in the shade Sienna.
I like this, I don't even own a bronzer as its not something I really wear but i've been wanting to get a decent one to contour my face. This might just be a good place to start.

Next I got the Drinkwel Vegetarian Capsules/
This is probably my least favourite thing in the box, and I don't really tend to go out drinking anymore but i'll probably use these when it comes round to Christmas.

UPDATE!
These fucking stink.

Next I got a Reverence de Bastien nail polish, and this is a full size product. I thought at first when I looked on the website that it was a red polish, and I died a little inside, because red nail polish... yeah >.< Boring.
But when I opened the box I was shocked because it was a really nice hot pink/raspberry colour. I don't really tend to wear pink but I actually really like this. It retails for £16, I wouldn't pay that for it though as there are loads of hot pink varnishes on the market for allot less money.

Last items I got in my box were 2 samples of Beauty Protector, Protect and Treat Hair Mask.
PARAISE DA LAWD! My hair right now is in some desperate need of love so I think these are perfect for me right now. They sort of smell like that soapy, shea butter which kind of puts me off, but its not going to stop me using them. Full size retails for £16.

I'm seriously impressed with my first Birchbox and i'll be renewing my subscription for next month. What did you get in your box? I would have loved the dark purple OPI polish.

Use the code NOV5 for £5 off your first box
